The construction of a 139 no. unit residential development, comprising; i. 40 no. three bedroom houses (ranging from 107 to 138.6 sqm), 69 no. four bedroom houses (ranging from 131.8 to 183.3 sqm) and 30 no. apartments in a four storey block (6 no. one bedroom and 24 no. two bedroom); ii. The carrying out of improvements to Glenamuck Road along the two sections of the application site with frontage to the road in advance of wider upgrade works including realigning and widening the road adjacent to Cromlech Close to remove the existing bend and the provision of pedestrian and cycle paths. The site is bounded to the north by 3 no. residential properties, Tra Dha Mhin, Long Meadow & Shaldon Lodge; to the south-east by Glenamuck Road & 2 no. residential properties Glencarrick & Rocklands; to the north-east by agricultural lands and to the west by Enniskerry Road (R117) and the rear boundaries of residential properties fronting onto Enniskerry Road and Cromlech Close.
