Welcome to the Council's on-line planning enquiry service. You can use this service to make an enquiry regarding the current status of a planning application.
As part of the ongoing development of this service the Council is pleased to now make available to its customers on line access to lodged planning applications and their associated documents.Planning applications received since October 2005 are available for viewing on line. The Council has an ongoing programme of scanning historical planning application records and these will be made available on the internet once scanned (it is not envisaged that planning records predating 1994 will be available on the Council's Website)
It is expected that by early 2008 all applications lodged since 1st January 2000 will be available on-line.
Customers should note that the time period from the date of receipt of a planning application to its availability on the Council's website is approximately 28 days(4 Weeks). This time requirement is necessary to enable Council Staff validate the Planning Application in the first instance & to then arrange to have the planning application, and all other documents submitted with the application, scanned and made available on the Council's Website.
Customers are also advised that they should not solely rely on the availability of documents on the website if they are considering submitting a comment/observation/objection in relation to a particular planning application.
In the event that you may wish to download & print any of the drawings associated with a planning application please note that the provisions of Section 74(4)of the Copyright and related Rights Act 2000 will apply which provides that any such drawings must be used for inspection purposes only.
